Leading to the Edge - an extraordinary event  Many things in the world are going well, but there are also things that aren't going so well. Our city centres are becoming more filthy, our health care is becoming meagre, and our educational system is running aground. When we try to telephone an authority, we are caught up in an automatic answering system, and our computer systems incidentally break down because of viruses. Our traffic is jammed, and there is more fraud going on than we ever imagined. There are illegal aliens and criminals. Our environment is in danger. Palestinians and Israelis are bashing each others heads in, and since September 11 we have come to realise that this also effects our own safety and comfort. What can we, and what can you, being an entrepreneur, do about it, even if you wanted to?

As a world we are balancing on the edge, and if we desire a safe and prosperous world for ourselves, our children, and our fellow-man, we shall have to go to the edge and exert leadership. It is just like business: a calculated risk, an investment, to benefit from it later. It is up to the entrepreneurs.
Leading to the Edge is a one-week gathering to give attention to these matters, in an exceptional way. In a temporary learning community, led by internationally acknowledged teachers, we will learn about ourselves and how we can make a difference in this world. We will learn how to take responsibility and conquer our powerlessness. We will connect with kindred spirits around the world. We will recharge our energy, require new insight, and return to our homes and jobs with renewed inspiration.
